Anji Smith’s recent work with the Community Forest was published with their 2021 Annual Report.

Although Anji’s photographic roots are steeped in the fine art B&W photography and printing, her interest in travel and underwater photography fuel her passion for visual storytelling.

Since 1984 Anji has worked and exhibited internationally before relocating to Powell River to surround herself in the natural beauty of landscape and ocean.  Anji is a principle at DNA and a Community Forest photographer.

    Vacuum back : is a camera back with a perforated plate through which air is drawn by a pump. A sheet of film is therefore sucked flat against the plate and held firmly during exposure. Used for special large format cameras such as copying devices where dimensional accuracy is critical.
